Biography and Creative Path

Kristian was born on July 12, 2004, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. His last name, Volkov, is a creative pseudonym taken in memory of his grandmother.

After finishing first grade, he moved with his parents to China, where he lived for 13 years. Kristian attended a Chinese public secondary school in Guangdong Province and is fluent in Chinese.

It was in the nightclubs of China that he began his musical journey, creating his first tracks. After returning to Almaty in the summer of 2025, Kristian began actively releasing his music on all digital platforms. His creative method is unique: he uses artificial intelligence to arrange dance beats, over which he lays his own lyrics. In this way, AI becomes a tool for bringing his musical ideas to life.

Founder of the Russian Deep House Style

Kristian Volkov is one of the founders of the experimental style Russian Deep House. Its defining characteristics are the organic intertwining of deep bass and synth passages with motifs from Russian folk instruments, such as the Russian accordion (garmon) and Russian balalaika. The style is also made recognizable by the vocal parts, which contrast a low male bass with a high female soprano.
